NZ Pacifica Hops
Pacific Hallertau (Pacifica) is said to be a distant relative of the Hallertauer varieties grown in Germany. Like Hallertauer Mittelfruh, Pacific Hallertau is mostly known for its aromatic properties, being marmalade and citrus. It carries an alpha acid content of 3-6.5%. It has moderately low cohumulone and higher carophyllene which can also give it a spicy aroma.
